The project
A sculptural ribbon of Arabic calligraphy curving through a mall concourse, printed in sections and fixed to a shaped substrate so the curve stays smooth and the joints fall where the eye does not follow. The adjoining column was wrapped in the same run to tie the installation into the architecture.
